Share this post by email.Governments from around the world have honored Spinosaurus many times over the years by issuing postage stamps bearing its likeness, much to the delight of the global philately community.
An evolution themed auction is scheduled for December 1st and 2nd, 2009 to take place at the Drouot-Montaigne auction house in Paris.
An 8 meter long Spinosaurus skeleton is available but is actually a composite of bones gathered over a wide area of Morocco. The Spinosaur is expected to haul in upwards of $750,000.
